14K Yellow Gold Holy Bible Pendant

This pendant is the Holy Bible in miniature: an open book in polished 14K yellow gold, its two pages carrying the whole design. One page is raised with the words HOLY BIBLE; the other is pierced with a small budded cross, and openwork scrolls curl along the bottom edge beneath the pages. Fine lines at the sides suggest the page edges, and the back is hollowed for a light feel — the cross shows through it, and the bail is stamped 14K.

At 16.2mm wide and 20.7mm tall including the bail, and just 1.1 grams, it is a small, delicate piece made for everyday wear on a favorite chain.
