A family shop, shipped from Pasco.

Three chains. Two brothers. An online jeweler in Eastern Washington — every chain in solid sterling, every earring in sterling or solid 14k gold, all of it curated from workshops we trust.

Jimenez Jewelry opened online in 2025, run out of Pasco, Washington. The idea was unromantic: stock solid sterling chain — three weaves, plainly sold — and refuse the convenient shortcuts that have made most modern chain feel hollow in the hand. Rope. Franco. Figaro. Nothing else. Nothing borrowed.

The shop is run by two brothers, Abraham and Israel Jimenez. We grew up around silver — our family is from a part of Mexico where good chain has been made for a very long time — and between us we spent years learning which workshops still do it the right way. We do not pretend to make the chain. We pretend to know it.

Every piece we carry is solid 925 sterling, sourced from workshops we know — in Mexico, Italy, Turkey, and a few other places around the world. We don't buy from anonymous distributors and we don't drop-ship. We are not the cheapest chain you can buy. We are, we think, among the most honest.

The catalog is intentionally small. Eight chains across three weaves, sixteen earrings in studs and drops, in the lengths and widths that actually get worn. We will never run a sale, never bundle, never push a piece we wouldn't put on our own neck.

We're online only. No storefront, no walk-ins. That keeps the operation small, lets the two of us answer every email personally, and means we're spending money on metal and shipping insurance instead of rent and a sign. Orders ship from Pasco, usually within 48 hours.

"A chain," our father liked to say, "is the most personal thing a person wears. It sits at the throat, against the pulse, every day. You shouldn't buy one like you buy a t-shirt." We agree. We've built the shop around that idea.

How we choose

The way a chain ends up in our catalog.

01 · The workshop

People we know

Every chain we sell comes from a workshop we've done business with before — in Mexico, Italy, Turkey, and a few other places. We don't buy from anonymous distributors and we don't drop-ship. If we can't get someone on the phone, we don't carry it.

02 · The weave

Solid through

Hollow chain is half the weight of solid, dents under a fingernail, and never feels right around the neck. We carry solid weave only. If a chain rattles, it goes back to the supplier.

03 · The hallmark

Real .925

Every piece is hallmarked .925 at its origin workshop. We inspect every shipment by hand — weight, weave, clasp, stamp — and pieces that don't match what was promised get sent back. We've sent plenty back.

04 · The finish

A clean clasp

Lobster clasps, properly soldered, with a spring that snaps. We try every clasp before the piece goes in the box for shipping. If a clasp feels mushy, the chain stays back — no matter how pretty the weave.

You should not buy a chain the way you buy a t-shirt.
