The fine print, in <em>plain</em> English.

Six policies, one page. We've tried to write them the way we'd say them in an email — short sentences, no euphemisms, no surprises buried in section 14.b.

01 · Shipping

Insured, signed, complimentary <em>over $200</em>.

All US orders ship via insured ground service, with signature required on delivery. Orders over $200 ship complimentary. Below that, a flat $18 applies — we don't pad shipping into the chain's price.

Lead time. In-stock pieces leave Pasco within 48 hours. Back-ordered items are 3–4 weeks from the supplier. We'll tell you which yours is, in the order confirmation, in writing.

Expedited. Two-day ground is $32, also signature-required. Overnight is by request — email us and we'll route it personally.

International. Currently US and Canada only. Canada ships USPS Priority with full insurance; duties are paid at customs by the recipient.

Lost or stolen packages. Insured to full value. If it doesn't arrive, write us — we'll work the claim with the carrier and make it right.

02 · Returns & exchanges

Seven days, on stocked chains, <em>no questions</em>.

Any in-stock piece can be returned for full refund or exchange within seven days of delivery, in original, unworn condition, with the receipt and any original packaging intact.

Earrings. For hygiene reasons, earrings are returnable only if they're sealed in their original tag, unopened.

Worn chains. Once a chain has been worn, it's yours. We can't restock a piece that's been on a neck, and we won't pretend otherwise.

Back-ordered pieces. Chains ordered from the workshop on your behalf are final sale once we place the order — the supplier isn't going to take it back, and neither can we.

Gifts. Recipients can exchange for store credit indefinitely, as long as the piece is unworn and the receipt is intact.

How to return. Write us within the seven days at orders@jimenezjewelry.com and we'll email a pre-paid return label. Refunds hit your original payment within 3–5 business days of the package arriving back in Pasco.

03 · Real sterling, guaranteed

If it isn't real .925, <em>we'll make it right</em>.

Every chain we sell is inspected by hand before it goes in the box — weight, weave, clasp, and hallmark. If a piece we sold you ever fails an independent .925 sterling test, send it back. We'll refund the full purchase price, no time limit, no receipt required if it carries our tag.

What this is. A standing guarantee that what we say is sterling, is sterling. It is not a warranty against ordinary wear, damage, or change of heart.

What this isn't. We don't offer a repair, replacement, or polishing service on chains that have been damaged, broken, or simply gotten tarnished with use. For those, any local jeweler can help.

04 · Privacy

We collect the <em>minimum</em>, and we keep it close.

To run the shop, we need your name, shipping address, email, and payment method. That's all. We don't ask for date of birth, demographic information, or social handles. We don't sell, license, or share customer data with anyone, ever, full stop.

Cookies. Strictly functional — a session cookie to keep your bag intact, a small preferences cookie. No third-party analytics, no advertising pixels, no retargeting.

Email. Two lists, both opt-in: a quarterly note from the shop (new arrivals, restocks) and an annual care reminder. You can unsubscribe with one click.

Payment. Card information is processed and held by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.

05 · Terms of service

The <em>basic</em> agreement.

Using this site or placing an order with us means you agree to the following. We've kept it short.

Pricing. Prices are in US dollars and exclude state sales tax (calculated at checkout). We honor the price displayed at the moment your order is placed.

Inventory. Stock figures are real, not estimated. If we oversell, we'll choose: hold your order for the next shipment, refund, or upgrade you to the next available piece. Your call.

Disputes. Governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Small-claims jurisdiction in Franklin County. No mandatory arbitration. No class-action waiver. We mean it.

Changes. Material changes to these terms are emailed thirty days in advance to current account holders, posted here, and dated below.

06 · Accessibility

The site, the shop, the <em>service</em>.

We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA. We test with VoiceOver, NVDA, keyboard-only navigation, and at 200% browser zoom. If you encounter a barrier, write us — we treat accessibility issues as top priority, fixed within the week.

Documents. Receipts and policy documents are available in large-print and screen-reader-friendly PDF on request.
